NEWS AT B&W
- New Attorney Profile- Heather Jensen

We liked Heather so well the first time she worked with us that we begged and begged until we convinced her to come back. Heather worked with us at our predecessor firm, Julin, Fosso, Sage, McBride and Barrett. She then worked with Barrett & Worden briefly, before accepting a job with the King County Prosecutor’s Office. In her seven years with the County, she tried fifty plus felony jury cases, including convictions in cases of murder, assault, arson, robbery, burglary, rape, child molestation, crimes of domestic violence, drug crimes and gang-related violence. We’re hoping to give Heather a little less violent case-load here.
Heather was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Westminster College there, graduating cum laude in 1993. She received her JD from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 1999. We hope you will enjoy working with Heather as much as we do.
- Paralegal Profile – Jessica Tsao

We feel very fortunate to have Jessica Tsao on our paralegal staff. Jessica moved to Seattle from Oregon at the end of 2006, with a career change under consideration. Jessica worked several years as an Engineer in Portland before joining Barrett & Worden. Jessica started as a part time legal assistant and began paralegal classes almost immediately. Due to her demonstrated skills and abilities on the job, Colleen and Greg encouraged her to consider getting a law degree. Recent results on the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) were very favorable and Jessica will be starting Law School in the fall. In her spare time, Jessica is planning her wedding, which will take place at the end of February. Our congratulations to her fiance Charlie Mills.
